Celebrating Our 2nd Anniversary – A Joyous Milestone at Stovner Velhus

On June 1st, 2025, we joyfully celebrated the 2nd Anniversary of our Women’s Club at Stovner Velhus, marking yet another milestone in our journey of empowerment, community, and culture.

The celebration was filled with vibrant activities, where our talented women showcased their skills and passions. The evening began with the beautiful Inniyam, a traditional Tamil dance and song performance that set a graceful and festive tone for the event.

We continued with a variety of engaging programs:

• Villu Pattu – a captivating storytelling tradition expressed through song and a unique bow-shaped instrument

• Kolattam – an energetic and colorful Tamil folk dance performed with rhythmic stick clapping

• Debates on important social topics that sparked meaningful dialogue

• Songs and dance performances that brought joy and enthusiasm to the entire hall

The atmosphere was lively, warm, and inclusive. Delicious snacks and a hearty dinner were served to all our guests, and the food was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

We were thrilled to see the participation of more than 60 women, all of whom left the venue feeling inspired, uplifted, and re-energized. Their smiles and positive energy were a true reflection of the spirit of our club.

This celebration not only honored our past achievements but also strengthened our commitment to continue spreading joy, empowerment, and togetherness to more women in the future.
